HTML5 Medical Application

The Brief

Real Body Work needed an interactive quiz application to help medical students learn the skeletal system, one of the parts of anatomy education where rote memorisation from a textbook diagram is a poor substitute for actually testing recall.

Our Approach

We built the quiz in Construct 2, using Real Body Work's own anatomical assets rather than sourcing new artwork, so the visuals stayed consistent with the rest of their teaching material. The application integrates with a CMS and reports student progress via SCORM, so the quiz plugs into a student's existing learning record rather than sitting outside it as a standalone activity. For this kind of education project, the technical bar is accuracy, tracking, and institutional deployment rather than graphical flair.

That reporting layer is what separates a training quiz from a simple web game. Students can test recall in a more active way, while the institution still gets the progress data it needs for course administration. Keeping the interaction lightweight in HTML5 also made it easier to place the activity inside existing learning material.

The Outcome

Medical students get a quiz-based way to test their knowledge of the skeletal system that reports back into their learning record, rather than a static diagram to memorise, built on assets Real Body Work already had instead of requiring a new art pipeline.
