Your analytics choice

On xgamedev.com, optional Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Choosing Reject analytics leaves it disabled. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. The site configures advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalisation and Google signals as disabled.

Your choice is saved in your browser under stu-analytics-consent-v1 until you change it or clear site data. If storage is unavailable, the choice applies to the current page. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from reading pages or sending an enquiry.

When allowed, Google Analytics measures page use and accepted contact-form submissions. The form's name, email and message are not included in the analytics event. Our page-view configuration excludes query strings and URL fragments. Google Analytics can set cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Rejecting analytics stops our event collection and removes these cookies for this site.

Other browser storage and third-party services

• Theme preference: stu-theme stores your light or dark display preference in local storage.
• Consented enquiry context: stu-enquiry-context-v1 keeps the first measured page and referring website origin in session storage after you allow analytics. It adds this context to an enquiry you send, without storing query strings or form text. It is removed when you reject analytics or the browser session ends.
• Contact-form protection: Google reCAPTCHA loads on contact-form pages to help prevent abuse. It can process device and network information and use its own browser storage. It is separate from optional analytics.
• Embedded videos: Some project pages embed YouTube using its privacy-enhanced domain. Loading a page containing an embed may contact YouTube; playing a video involves further requests to that service.
• Hosting and enquiry processing: Requests reach our hosting and contact-form infrastructure even when optional analytics is rejected.

Managing storage

You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. This also resets the saved analytics choice and theme. Blocking third-party resources may prevent reCAPTCHA or embedded videos from working; you can still contact us at info@xgamedev.com.
