The Brief

Click Profits Inc asked XGameDev for a simple, tapping arcade-style game to embed on a corporate website: something visitors could jump into instantly, with no download, no plugin, and no reason to bounce before it loads.

Our Approach

We built Poke the Pig in Construct 3 as an HTML5 title, so it runs directly in the browser on desktop, tablet, and mobile from one build. For a game embedded on a corporate page rather than distributed through an app store, load time and simplicity matter first: tap the pig, watch the score climb, and keep the interaction light enough to sit on the page without slowing anything else down.

That small scope still needed proper production judgment. The game had to respond quickly to repeated taps, fit inside an existing website layout, and avoid the asset weight that makes a visitor abandon a page before the interaction even starts. Construct 3 was the right tool because it kept the build compact while still giving the client animation, scoring, and browser support in one package.

The Outcome

Poke the Pig gave Click Profits Inc a lightweight, embeddable game that adds an interactive moment to their website without the overhead a heavier game or a native app would bring.
