This policy describes personal information handled through the XGameDev website and enquiries about our services. XGameDev Pty Ltd is based in Palmwoods, Queensland, Australia. ABN: 50618677277.

Enquiries

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. You can also select a service. We use these details to respond, clarify your requirements and discuss an estimate or engagement. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

The submission includes the contact-page path, a recognised referring service page when available, and an external referring website's origin when provided by your browser. If you allow analytics, it can also include the first page measured in that browser session and its referring website origin. We exclude URL query strings and fragments from this context. Our contact infrastructure also receives your IP address for abuse protection and delivery diagnostics.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card information, patient records or other sensitive customer data through the form. If a project requires confidential files, discuss an appropriate transfer process with us first.

Providers involved in processing an enquiry

The website uses Firebase Hosting and a Google Cloud contact endpoint. Google reCAPTCHA checks submissions for abuse. Accepted enquiries are passed to SendGrid for email delivery and to our Slack notification workflow so we can respond. These providers may process information outside Australia.

A success message means our endpoint accepted the enquiry after the email provider accepted the send request. It is not a guarantee of inbox delivery. If you have not received a reply within one business day, contact info@xgamedev.com.

Optional website analytics

Google Analytics loads only after you allow it through the website's analytics controls. We use it to understand page use and accepted enquiries. Names, email addresses and message text are not included in the successful-enquiry analytics event. Advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google signals are disabled in the site's tracking configuration.

Other contact and project information

If you contact us by email, social media or another channel, we use the information you supply to deal with that contact. An engagement may require additional project, billing or contractual information. Project-specific data handling and confidentiality requirements should be agreed as part of that engagement.

We limit use of enquiry information to responding, managing the prospective or agreed work, and operating and protecting our services. We take reasonable steps to remove information when it is no longer required, subject to records we need to retain for the business or applicable obligations.

Access, correction, deletion and concerns

Contact our Privacy Officer, Jacques Leemans, at privacy@xgamedev.com to ask about information we hold, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a concern. Describe the request and the contact details you used with us. We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing personal information; do not send account passwords.
