Interactive HTML5 Content

Interactive HTML 5 Content

Lightweight, browser-based interactive builds for games, training modules, and web applications, where a full engine deployment isn't the right fit.

XGameDev builds interactive HTML5 content, browser games, training modules, presentations, and animated infographics, for teams that need a browser-based build rather than a full Unity deployment. We work directly in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and with Construct 2 and Construct 3 for browser-based games.

When HTML5 fits

A lightweight browser build can suit a campaign, learning activity or 2D game that people should open from a link. It avoids a plugin installation. Layout, touch controls, accessibility, asset sizes and browser compatibility still need deliberate implementation and testing. We agree these requirements for the audience and hosting environment before choosing the stack.

What We Build

Interactive HTML5 content includes games, training modules, presentations, animated infographics, and web applications. We combine HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create experiences that respond to user input in real time.

Common projects:

  • Browser-based games using Construct 2 or Construct 3
  • eLearning modules and simulations
  • Interactive presentations
  • Data visualizations and infographics
  • Web applications and tools

Why work with us?

We’ve been building HTML5 content since before it was the standard.

Our team specializes in:

  • Unity and HTML5 game development: We export Unity projects to WebGL and build native HTML5 games
  • Web-based multimedia: Video, audio, and animation optimized for web delivery
  • Automation and workflow: Efficient production pipelines for faster turnarounds
  • Educational content: Training modules, simulations, and interactive learning tools

We work directly with clients using Agile methodology. You get regular updates, working builds throughout development, and no surprises at the end.

Examples of browser-based work

The Great Waste Sort is an educational game for Paper4trees. Our medical anatomy quiz combines Construct 2, client-supplied artwork and SCORM reporting. The HTML5 interactive ad shows a campaign-focused use of the same browser delivery model.

What do you receive?

We scope the build files, source handover, hosting or embed instructions and agreed testing. Browser support, touch controls, orientation, audio permissions, download size and third-party embed restrictions need to be defined for your audience. Offline use requires its own caching and update design; it does not happen automatically because a build uses HTML5.

For an existing Unity game moving into the browser, see WebGL game porting. That route covers adapting the existing game and its platform dependencies.

Can you convert Flash content?

Yes. Send the source files if available, playable references or recordings, the assets you own and a list of behaviours to preserve. Our Construct development service includes Flash-to-HTML5 conversion work. The original interaction may need adjustments for touch input, browser security or a new LMS.

Browser games by purpose

For a campaign or product launch, see branded game development. For learning activities and public education, see serious and educational game development. These pages explain the audience and project decisions; this HTML5 service covers the browser implementation.
