Crashy Road Privacy Policy

How the Crashy Road: Car Crash Games app collects, uses and shares information.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

This policy covers the mobile game Crashy Road: Car Crash Games for iPhone, iPad and Android (bundle ID com.xgamedev.ddcmc), published by XGameDev Pty Ltd ("XGameDev", "we", "us"). XGameDev is based in Palmwoods, Queensland, Australia (ABN 50618677277). The policy for the xgamedev.com website is separate and is at xgamedev.com/privacy-policy.

Crashy Road does not ask you to create an account, does not ask for your email address, phone number or real name, and does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location.

What the game collects

Player ID and device identifier. The first time you play online, the game signs you in to our game service, PlayFab, using an identifier generated for your device. On iPhone and iPad this is the identifier for vendor, which is shared only between apps from the same developer. This creates an anonymous player profile. It lets us keep your leaderboard score and match it to your device.

Display name (optional). If you open the weekly leaderboard you can type a display name. The name is stored in PlayFab and shown to other players next to your score. Please do not use your real name or any personal information.

Scores. At the end of each run the game sends your run result (the number of cars hit and your score multiplier) to PlayFab to update the weekly leaderboard.

Game progress. Coins, unlocked vehicles, your selected vehicle and settings are saved on your device. In-app purchases of coin packs are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive your payment details.

Usage and diagnostic data. The game uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. They collect app events (for example launches and screens used), crash reports, and technical details such as device model, operating system version, app version and an app instance identifier. We use this to find crashes and to see how the game is played.

Advertising data. The game is free and shows ads (a banner, a full-screen ad after a finished run, and optional rewarded video ads) through Google AdMob. AdMob and the ad networks it works with receive your device and ad identifiers where available, your IP address (from which an approximate location such as your country or city can be derived), and information about the ads shown and how you interacted with them. On iPhone and iPad the game does not ask for permission to use the advertising identifier (IDFA) for tracking, and we do not use data from the game to track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Consent choices

Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the game shows Google's consent form on first launch and again if your choices need to be renewed. If a privacy options button is shown on the main menu, you can use it to review or change your advertising choices at any time. You can also limit ad tracking in your device settings (iOS: Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking; Android: Settings, Privacy, Ads).

How we use the data

  • To run the game and the weekly leaderboard (PlayFab).
  • To measure how the game is used and to find and fix crashes (Firebase).
  • To show ads and pay for the game (AdMob).
  • To keep the game secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for anything unrelated to running the game.

Who receives the data

Provider What it does Data it receives
Microsoft PlayFab Player profile and leaderboard Device-based player ID, display name, scores, IP address
Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics) Usage statistics and crash reports App events, crash data, device and app details, app instance ID, IP address
Google AdMob and its ad partners Ads Device and ad identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions
Apple and Google App store and in-app purchases Purchase details, handled under their own policies

These providers may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Their policies are at PlayFab, Firebase and Google ads.

How long we keep data

We keep your player profile, display name and scores while the game is in service and until you ask us to delete them. Analytics, crash and advertising data are kept by the providers under their own retention settings.

Children

Crashy Road is a general audience game with an age rating of 9+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, including your player profile, display name and scores. Because the game has no account, include the display name you used and, if you can, the approximate dates you played so we can find your profile. You can also delete the game from your device, which removes the progress stored on it.

Depending on where you live (for example under the Australian Privacy Act, the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act) you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your local privacy regulator. In Australia that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
