Over the past year working with xGameDev on Step Out Academy, I've had the privilege of working closely with Jacques. A few things stand out: he actually answers calls when you need support, he teaches you how to do things and explains why, and he's honest about what's possible and what isn't. For a growing business, having someone who prioritises your data security, keeping everything registered under your company's name and treats your concerns seriously makes a real difference. Jacques has been patient, straightforward, and invested in getting things right. Rare to find developers willing to support other founders navigating this space so authentically and generously. I cannot recommend Jacques more highly and look forward to future contracts together.

I've been working with XGameDev for just over a year now on the Step Out Academy app, and they've been exactly what we needed. They are invested in the project, which shows when they come back from a holiday and have ideas on how to improve the app. When I don't know how to do something, they walk me through it instead of just handing me a bill. The data security piece was huge for us too. They made sure everything stays registered under Step Out Academy's name, not theirs. That matters when you're running a small business. They've been honest when things aren't possible, helpful when they are, and genuinely interested in what we're trying to build. It's a family business, and it shows. They support other people trying to get things off the ground. Would highly recommend them and will continue using their services for any of our development needs.

Excellent at bringing a large project a scalable project to life, or as a value add to an existing project. His foundational programming contribution to Broken Roads was an eye-opening window into the application of SOLID principles. In addition, his efficiency with time management, and deep knowledge of project management make him a very easy recommendation for other projects. He has a great balance of approachable, no BS, and a genuine love for the craft of making games.

I came to Melanie for my gaming/coding needs, she did an incredible job!!!! I highly recommend Melanie for a session, tutoring, projects etc as she is great on time, great at explaining, and extremely smart and experienced based off her description. I needed her for Unity and the work she assisted me with was impeccable! Price is very reasonable too, you honestly can’t beat choosing her as your mentor. Highly highly recommend, I guarantee you will be impressed and if you are on a time crunch and stressed like I was, she will relieve that for you. I call her a life saver as her help really came in clutch for me. She is also very friendly and patient with her customers. You can also have a conversation with her and she will hype you up and make you feel better. For example, I stressed to her about one of my classes and she made me feel better with her statements.
