Speed Boat Drag Racing Privacy Policy

How the Speed Boat Drag Racing 3D Game app collects, uses and shares information.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This policy covers the mobile game Speed Boat Drag Racing 3D Game (called Speed Boat: Drag Racing in earlier versions) for iPhone, iPad and Android (bundle IDs com.xgamedev.speedboatracing on iOS and com.SpeedBoat.Racing on Android), published by XGameDev Pty Ltd ("XGameDev", "we", "us"). XGameDev is based in Palmwoods, Queensland, Australia (ABN 50618677277). The policy for the xgamedev.com website is separate and is at xgamedev.com/privacy-policy.

The game has no accounts, no ads and no chat. It never asks for your name, email address or phone number, and it does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location. Your progress stays on your device. The game does send usage statistics and crash reports to Google through Firebase, and Apple or Google handle the payment if you buy credits.

What stays on your device

Your credits, unlocked boats, upgrades, level progress and best times are saved in the game's local storage on your phone or tablet. We do not receive any of it. If you delete the game or clear its data it is gone, and we have no copy to restore.

What the game sends us

The game uses two Google services from Firebase. Nothing else in the game collects data.

Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase). The game logs only the events Firebase records automatically: first open, session start, screen views, app updates and in-app purchases (product and price). Along with those events, Firebase receives:

  • a random app instance ID that the game creates when it is installed (reinstalling creates a new one);
  • the device model, operating system version, language and game version;
  • an approximate location, down to country or city, worked out from your IP address (Google does not keep the IP address itself);
  • on Android, the advertising ID of your device when one is available. We use it for analytics only, and the game shows no ads.

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics). If the game crashes, Crashlytics sends the stack trace, the state of the game and device at the time (such as the device model and operating system version) and a Crashlytics installation ID. We use these to find and fix bugs.

We do not link any of this to your name, because the game has no accounts.

What we do not collect

Names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone input, files and payment card details. The game does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell data.

Purchases

You can buy credit packs inside the game. The payment goes through the App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android. Those companies handle your card or other payment details under their own policies, and we never see them. The stores tell us sales totals and the country of purchase, and Firebase Analytics logs the purchase event described above.

Sharing a result

The share button opens the sharing menu built into your phone or tablet. You choose where a result goes, and we do not receive a copy.

How we use the data

  • To measure how the game is used, so we can decide what to fix and improve.
  • To find and fix crashes.
  • To keep the game working and prevent abuse.

We do not use it for advertising and we do not use it for anything unrelated to running the game.

Who receives the data

Provider What it does Data it receives
Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics) Usage statistics and crash reports App events, crash data, device and game details, app instance ID, Crashlytics installation ID, approximate location from the IP address, Android advertising ID
Apple and Google App store and in-app purchases Purchase details, handled under their own policies

Google processes this data on servers in the United States and other countries where it operates, so it can leave your country. Google's information is at Firebase privacy and security.

How long we keep data

Google Analytics keeps event data for 2 months. Data tied to an app instance ID or advertising ID is kept for up to 14 months from the last time that install was active. Crashlytics keeps crash stack traces and the identifiers attached to them for 90 days, then starts removing them from its live and backup systems. Reports that combine many installs and do not identify one can be kept longer.

Your choices and rights

The game has no on/off switch for analytics today. On Android you can delete or reset the advertising ID in Settings (Privacy, then Ads), which stops Firebase reading it. Uninstalling the game creates a new app instance ID the next time you install it. If you would like us to stop collecting data from your install, or to delete what we hold, email privacy@xgamedev.com.

Because the data is not linked to your name, we can only find it if we can match it to your install, and the game does not display its instance ID. If that means we cannot locate anything, we will tell you plainly.

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, and under the GDPR and UK GDPR if you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and you can object to how we use it. You can also complain to your local privacy regulator. In Australia that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Children

The game is not aimed at children under 13, and the Google Play listing targets ages 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When the game changes what it collects, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. A new service or an ad network would be added here before the game ships with it.
